What can design achieve?

We create sculpture that people live and work in.  With each project we find those opportunities of program and site that allow us to interlace energy, ecology and community into a frame for nature.  Our focus is the garden; our goal is simplicity.

We specialize in climate responsive, community-catalyzing architecture for new construction, renovations, and adaptive re-use.  Our work is a continuing reply to the invitation of design: to draw beauty from what is useful, and to shape the built environment in ways that build the human spirit.
