New Construction 7,800 sf, Albany, CA
The new Auto Salon and Repair facility is designed to showcase alternative energy vehicles in a glass box protected by deep overhangs and sunshades. At night thermostatically controlled vents at the floor open to allow cooler air to flush out the building through high wall vents. An 8’ high interior LED sign, visible from the freeway, curves over the interior circular office spaces in place of any exterior signage. Rooftop photovoltaic panels feed electric car charging stations outside.
